The draw for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League is slated to be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast capital.

The draw will be conducted at 16h00 local time (16h00 GMT) and be livestreamed on CAF digital platforms.

This will be the first time that a West African country will be hosting the tournament after North Africa hosted the previous two editions.

Egypt and Morocco hosted the 2021 and 2022 editions.

The 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League is the third edition of the African women’s club competition.

Five debutantes will take part in this year’s edition, Ampem Darkoa (Ghana), CS Casablanca (Morocco), JKT Queens (Tanzania), Huracanes (Equatorial Guinea), and host, Athletico FC (Ivory Coast).

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies (South Africa) and ASFAR FC (Morocco) are the only teams that have qualified for all three editions of the competition.

AS Mande (Mali) qualified for the maiden edition in Mali and is returning to the tournament after missing the last edition.

Mamelodi Sundowns and ASFAR FC won the first two editions of the tournament in Egypt and Morocco respectively.
