CAF CL : Vipers SC names squad to travel to Morocco

𝙐𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣 side Vipers SC has named an 18-man squad to play against Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions League opener in Morocco.

The game will be played on 10th February at the Complexe Mohammed V stadium ,10 PM EAT.

The venoms under new coach Beto Bianchi will depart the country in the wee hours of Wednesday morning aboard Turkish airlines.

Vipers welcome their talisman Yunus Ssentamu who fully recovered from groin injury which he had suffered two months ago.

New signing Karim Ndugwa is cap-tied having played in the CAF Confederations cup with BUL.Ibrahim Orit ,Frank Zaga ,Najib Yiga and Marvin Young Man are the other players missing out on Beto’s squad.

Vipers are in group C along side Horoya ,Simba ,and Raja Casablanca.The venoms beat continental giants TP Mazembe to reach their first ever CAF Champions League group stages.
