Cabriel Nanjip: Cameroon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup influencer passes on

Popular Cameroonian Comedian and football passionate artists Cabriel Nanjip has died in a car crash at the Pouma-Edea Highway on his way to Yaounde.

Nanjip, who was driving in his own car collided with another vehicle and entered a state of unconsciousness but was later confirmed dead at the Edea General Hospital.

Nanjip was part of the Cameroon delegation of influencers at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and a sensation during that tournament.

He famously predicted Cameroon’s World Cup win against Brazil weeks before it happened.

Besides the World Cup, he has made appearances at Guinness Super League matches and other football events back at home.

The native of the West Region of Cameroon was very popular across Cameroon for his songs, comedy and his involvement in football.

He leaves friends, fans and family to mourn him.
