Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with PSV Eindhoven for Moroccan international Ismael Saibari, with medical tests scheduled in the United States next week. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to sign a deal running until June 2031. Reports over the last few days indicated that Vincent Kompany personally pushed for the transfer, while Bayern and PSV finalized the remaining details of a deal worth around €50-53 million.
Saibari arrives in Germany after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign with PSV. The Moroccan star registered 18 goals and 8 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions, while also scoring three goals in the UEFA Champions League.
In the Eredivisie alone, he contributed 15 goals and 8 assists, establishing himself as one of the league’s most influential midfielders and earning widespread recognition as one of the standout performers of the season.
If completed, the move would represent one of the biggest transfers involving a Moroccan player and give Bayern another creative option as they continue rebuilding under Vincent Kompany.
