- Â The Red devils have been evicted from the FA Cup
Cameroonian international Andre Onana and his team Manchester United suffered a devastating 4-3 penalty shootout loss to Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The match ended 1-1 after extra time, with Onana’s team unable to capitalize on their chances.
Despite a strong start, Manchester United fell behind to a Calvin Bassey header on the stroke of half-time. Bruno Fernandes equalized in the 71st minute, but neither team could find a winner in the remaining time.
The match went to penalties, where Bernd Leno denied Victor Lindelof and Joshua Zirkzee to clinch Fulham’s place in the last eight. Onana, who had made several crucial saves throughout the match, was unable to prevent his team’s elimination.
The loss marks another setback for Manchester United, who have struggled to find consistency this season. For Onana, the defeat is a disappointing result, but the Cameroonian international will look to bounce back with his team in their upcoming Europa League matches.
