Andre Onana nominated for Premier League save of the month

Andre Onana Onana has been nominated for the April 2024 Premier League save of the month. 

Onana is hoping to claim the Save of the Month gong for the first time since his summer move from Internazionale.

The Cameroon international, who was voted United’s best player of March, pulled out a stunning one-handed stop to deny Burnley’s Lyle Foster during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

The Manchester United’s keeper is in six-man race for the Castrol sponsored prestigious prize.

He faces competition for the award from Nottingham Forest’s Matz Seles; Liverpool’s Alisson Becker (to deny Mateta and Palace at Anfield); West Ham’s Lukasz Fabianski; Burnley’s Arijanet Muric; and Manchester United’s Andre Onana.

The winner of the prize will be determined by votes and a panel decision in expected to be arrived  at 14:00 BST on Friday, 10th May.
