Legendary Indomitable Lions of Cameroon fan, Ngando Pickett and his team will embark on a road trip to Côte D’Ivoire for the 34th edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
According to local sources Ngando and his team will leave Cameroon this Wednesday, January 10 and travel through four countries before arriving the West African nation ahead of the 2023 AFCON which will start this Saturday January 13 and run till February 11.
Ngando, a regular face at the continental showpiece will be making his 14th appearance in the competition alongside his group members who have always formed part of Cameroon’s tournament attraction.
The team is expected to go through Nigeria, Benin, Ghana before getting to the Côte D’Ivoire before kick-off on Saturday.
They however have enough time to get to town before Cameroon starts its group stage commitment on January 15.
The five-time African champions are in Group C in Yamousoukro, alongside Guinea, The Gambia and holders Senegal.
Cameroon will open their competition on January 15 against Guinea before facing Senegal and last AFCON surprised package, the scorpions of The Gambia.
