The Paramount Ruler of Limbe, his Royal majesty HM Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams has revealed the exploits of Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) during the 2023 national interpools in Yaounde has rekindled his interest in football and he will take particular commitment to see that the club reach unprecedented heights.
HM Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams announced the new twist on Tuesday while receiving players and staff of the team who had returned from Yaounde with the coveted interpools trophy on a rare occasion in Southwest football history.
“Watching you all play in the “TikiTaka” style made me remember my secondary school days. I am so fulfilled by the joy you all have brought to our people and I can tell you this has renewed my interest in football,” HM Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams announced.
“Our doors are open. I will work with my people to make sure you get maximum support, not just to be in Elite 2 but enough push to move higher than that.”
The ruler of the seaside town who had blessed ISOHSA before they left for the competition thank the whole team before offering a buffet to the over 80 persons who graced the event at his Palace.
HM Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams thus joins a number of traditional authorities who have taken a commitment to make sure the ISOHSA project prospers for the good of the people of Limbe and the Southwest.
His Majesty also blessed 19-year-old Egbe Tiku Albert who finished top scorer and best player in the two-weeks tournament.
