Inter Milan is reportedly eyeing legendary Coasta Rican stopper Keylor Navas, Spurs’ legend Hugo Lloris and Yann Sommer of Bayern Munich as a possible replacement for much-talked about Andre Onana Onana.

Keylor spent the second segment of last season at English Premier League side Nottingham Forest, but the former Real Madrid man is keen on leaving the books of PSG.

Sommer spent last season on loan at Bayern could head to Milan, just like Hugo Lloris whose best days at Tottenham Hotspur are behind him. All these options depends on the departure of Onana which looks increasingly likely with every passing day.

Onana who only joined Inter last summer from Ajax Amsterdam is linked with a move away from the club with Chelsea and Manchester United FC going neck-to-neck for the services of the 28-year-old.

The retired Cameroon international made headlines for his exploits in his first season with the Narazzuri, helping them to another UEFA Champions League final after keeping eight clean sheets in 12 matches. He also won the Italian Super Cup and Cup for the Milan club.

Though Chelsea’s interest made more news a few weeks ago, United have since taken the lead.

A number of meetings have reportedly happened between the player’s entourage and officials from the club in Northwest England, as Inter Milan expects €60 Millions to approve his departure.

This Tuesday, Italian sources have as their banner story; the presence of Piero Ausilio in England to discuss terms with Manchester United officials. The former is willing to offer €50 Millions plus ad ons to sign their ‘dream keeper’.

Onana is widely regarded as the best keeper in the world, with a number of attributes to quick-fix most of the problems Manchester United have faced with David De Gea as their number one over the years.

The man from Nkol-Ngok could reunite with his former Boss Eric Ten Haag with whom he worked at Ajax Amsterdam for over three seasons.

Onana began his career at the Fundesport Academy in Cameroon, but moved to Spain on invitation of Barcelona as a teenager. He spent a number of years at La Masia before joining Ajax Amsterdam in 2014.

He spent seven successful years at the Amsterdam club, winning multiple domestic trophies.

Onana played the UEFA Europa League final in 2021 and became the first Cameroonian keeper to feature in the Champions League final this season.

‘Penalty killer’ as he is fondly called could arrive in Manchester with huge experience even at international level, having been Cameroon’s first choice keeper at twice and during the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

A move to any of England will make him the first Cameroonian goalkeeper to join an English Premier League side.
