The battle for the 2025/26 MTN Elite One crown remains wide open after Matchday 25, with Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo retaining their place at the summit while Fauve Azur’s relegation to Elite Two was confirmed.

Colombe continued their impressive campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Aigle de la Menoua. The result keeps the South Region outfit in first place on 52 points heading into the final round of the season.

Hot on their heels are Dynamo de Douala, who produced a convincing 3-0 victory away to PWD of Bamenda. The Littoral Region club moved level on points with Colombe, ensuring the title race will be decided on the final day.

Unisport du Haut-Nkam suffered a major setback in their pursuit of the championship after falling 3-0 to Cotonsport of Garoua. The defeat leaves them three points behind the leading duo.

At the bottom of the table, Fauve Azur’s fate was sealed following a 4-2 defeat against AS Fortuna. The Yaoundé side are now mathematically relegated with one game left to play, ending their stay in the top division.

Elsewhere, Canon Sportif de Yaoundé claimed a 2-0 win over Gazelle FA, while Stade Renard secured their top-flight status thanks to a 1-0 success against Victoria United.

Panthère Sportive du Ndé were among the biggest winners of the weekend, recording an emphatic 4-0 triumph over Aigle du Moungo.

With just one round remaining, the race for the title and the battle to avoid relegation promise a dramatic finish to the MTN Elite One season.
