Lethal Spain-based Cameroonian striker, Karl Etta Eyong Blaise has been named in Cameroon’s 24-player squad to face Mauritius Island and Angola next month.
kick442.com has learnt from its Spanish sources that Levante recieved a request for the player from his country’s FA and has made him available for the duration of the next FIFA window.
The 19-year old former Galactique Academie of Douala finisher whose omission raised huge inquest last time out has been picked by coach Marc Brys for Cameroon’s games on October 8 against Mauritius and October 13 against Angola.
Etta’s call up is a welcomed development as many are those who have been clamouring for him to be drafted into the squad, giving his showings with Villareal earlier this season and the form displayed even upon his switch to Levante.
Etta who already scored against Real Madrid this term counts three goals and four assists for the two clubs he has played for this term.
The former Cameroon U-20 internaltional joins Bryan Mbeumo, Vincent Aboubakar, Nicolas Ngamaleu, Danny Namaso, Frank Magri, Christian Bassogog and co on the list of forward players expected to lead his country to the best possible finish to the World Cup qualifiers.
