The Head Coach of Ghana senior women’s national team Nora Häuptle has released her squad for the 2024 Olympics Qualifier against Guinea.
A total number of 31 players have been invited to camp which is slated to open on July 3.
Northern Ladies goalkeeper Afi Amenyaku made her first call-up to the national team after impressing with the U-20 side that won the WAFU-B Women’s Cup in Kumasi.
The trio of Ernestina Abambilla, Jennifer Cudjoe and Alice Kusi returned to the team after long time absence.
Camp will officially open on Monday, July 3, at the GFA Technical Centre (GSCE), Prampram.
The first round fixtures against Guinea is scheduled between 10 – 18, July, 2023.
The Black Queens is yet to qualify for any edition of the Olympics since 2000 when Africa became eligible to participate at the women’s football event and will hope to make its debut appearance in Paris next year.
