The grand finale of the 2024 Engr David Ayodele Asalu ASLER Football Competition is set to take place this weekend.
United FC Ejigbo and Murphy FC Ejigbo will battle it out in the final match on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
Ejigbo Baptist High School Field, Osun State, is the venue for the final on Sunday.
To make it to the final, United FC Ejigbo edged Jakande FC, Ejigbo 1-0 in the semi-final.
Murphy FC Ejigbo, on the other hand, pipped New Star FC Ejigbo 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.
The tournament aimed to foster friendship and discover talents in Ejigbo Local Government in Osun state, Nigeria.
It also hopes to bring youths together to enhance mutual respect and a sense of responsibility.
