Cameroon’s U-20 Women’s team are looking forward to sealing qualification to the third qualifying round of their FIFA World Cup qualifiers this Saturday in Gaborone.

The Cameroon team led by coach Hassan Ibrahim will clash with Botswana this afternoon at the National stadium, hoping to complete their task of qualification.

Cameroon scored in each half to beat Botswana 2-0 in the reversed fixture a week ago at home and needs to preserve their lead to sail through to the next round of the

Ahead of the return game, coach Hassan Ibrahim discussed his team during the traditional pre-match conference on Friday.

“We are serene and focused on the game. I believe we have had a good reception. All has been well since we arrived,” the Cameroonian gaffer said.

The multiple Champion of Cameroon’s women’s top-flight championship in his first full mission went further to clearly state his mission to Gaborone.

“We are now focused on achieving the qualification. We know it isn’t going to be easy as we are playing away from home. What is sure is we will give our best,” confident coach Hassan summed.

The game is scheduled at 4PM Cameroon time and the winner on aggregate will advance to the third round of the competition.

The winner will face the winner between Angola and Kenya which the latter won the first-leg 6-1.
