The Cameroon U-20 women’s team have qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in that category for the very first time in their history.

The girls of coach Hassan Balla defeated Egypt 5#2 on aggregate to book a spot to the tournament.

After defeating Egypt 4#2 in Egypt during the away leg, Cameroon and Egypt separated on a one all tie at the Omnisport stadium in Yaounde.

The Egyptian opened scores through Habiba Esam in the first half of the match before Lamine Mana equalized in the second half.

Colombia will host the 2024 Women’s U-20 World Cup from August 31, to September 22, 2024.
