Cameroon international, Didier Lamkel Ze has secured a move to Turkish top tier club, Hatayaspor on a two-year-deal.

The 26-year-old forward has undergone the medical procedure and all other necessary measures needed for his transfer before penning the deal this Tuesday, August 8.

Lamkel parted ways with Moroccan giants, Wydad Athletic club, in an amicable termination of his contract less than five months after he joined the club on loan and made just two appearances.

He left after just three months of stay at WAC.

Having joined KV Kortrijk in January, Lamkel still did not have enough playing time. He made six appearances since his arrival and he made it clear that he did not see reasons staying at the Mother Club with no play time.

He has now secured a move to Hatayspor until 2025 and has been unveiled by the club this Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

Hatayspor finished last in the league and withdrew even before the end after being plagued by the Turkish earthquake that saw them lose over six persons and a key player, Christian Atsu.

The club will not be relegated as a result of their withdrawal and will retain their place in Turkey’s first division championship.

Lamkel has been unstable in the past 14 months or so, having plied his trade in over seven clubs, and ending up not finishing his agreed term.
