On like Match Day 1 when 40 goals were recorded, only 29 goals were scored across all the match day 2 games, with 4 away wins and 5 draws.

As the league enters full swing, only 3 sides can boast of a 100% win record, while some teams continue to deal with a difficult start to life this campaign.

Cinyodev FA 1-1 South West United
Following a goalless first half, South West United struck first against Cinyodev at the Molyko Omnisports stadium in the second half but the lead only lasted for 2 minutes and 47 seconds, before Lyonga Rudolf leveled the score, striking from an acute angle. Multiple chances fell for either side after the leveler but fine goalkeeping and poor execution in the final third meant 3 games without a win for the Checky Boys, against Limbe – based South West United, as the encounter ended 1-all.

Fako United 1-1 Prisons FC
Like a tale of two sides of the same coin, Fako United and Prisons had the population of Buea split on match day. The Home Boys took the lead midway through the first half, soaking in all the pressure from the Njoku Boys which eventually paid off in the 89th minute, when Fako United won and converted a penalty to even the score.

Legend FA 1-0 Kumba Lakers
Legend FA remain unbeaten this season with 4points from a possible six, while Kumba Lakers are yet to find a winning formula, or at the least, register their first point. Legend FA’s lone goal was enough to see the game through as they picked up what looks a massive 3 point.

Jesus FC 0-5 Bright Stars
In terms of score lines, Bright Stars are the biggest winners of match Day 2, as they made Jesus FC look ordinary, cruising to a comfortable 5-0 away win. Newly promoted to the league, Jesus FC looked to be on the right track after winning on day 1, but the stars have now picked up 3 points, following their five star performance and a baptism of fire for Jesus FC.

Livanda Lions 3-1 CUSA
The lions of Livanda showed no distinction between new and old, schooling the scholars of Catholic university sports academy with a 3-1 win. The result seems shocking especially with Livanda lions being a new side in the league and with CUSA representing at the level of the mini interpool in the last campaign.

Tiko United 1-0 Continental FA
Continental continue to struggle for their first point, after losing back-to-back against Cinyodev and now Tiko United. The Samba needed only one goal and a resilient defense to ensure maximum points at the Tiko town green stadium.

Aljazeera SA 0-3 NQSA
Although the academicians made the long trip to Buea, Aljazeera were unable to capitalize with home support, as Njalla Quan SA sailed to a comprehensive 3-0 win over the home side. NQSA now sit top of Pool A, with 6 points.
