A new football Academy named Relieve Football Academie is set to go operational in Douala on July 21,2023
The announcement was made this Thursday during a press conference organized by the vision bearers at the Krystal Palace Hotel in Cameroon’s economic capital.
Releve Football Academie, is said to be the newest member of the football family from the Littoral region.
This is an initiative of former amateur footballer, promoter and well-known entertainment personnel. Jonathan Bapidi, former artist Manager to Cameroon hip hop star, Stanley Enow.
Jonathan’s intention to contribute to the growth of football in the country and to groom young talents who are passionate about football and strive to excel.
“Our Objective is to produce the Mbappe’s tomorrow and all is set for that to happen in the long run. I aim at developing football in the country as well, thus one of the reasons.
We want to give these children the opportunity to leave their dreams,” The CEO mentioned.
The club already has in place a technical bench to take charge of the Academicians and equally be a part of this long term project.
Jonathan and his team are expected to carry out “fishing” of talents for the academy. The lucky talents scouted and retained will enroll at the Academy at no charge.
They will organize a mini tournament on July 15 and 16 at the Cite Chirac stadium in Nyalla Pariso to scout talents.
The proprietor also provided updates about the point of operation of the institution.
“We will ensure the children train in good conditions that have already been put in place. As of now, three stadiums have been earmarked to host our training,” Jonathan revealed Bapidi.
The CEO who has been into showbiz since 2009 wants to engage in football to help him get acquainted with players as an aid to other goals.
Releve will face tough competition from giant existing clubs in the industry.
