The three-year relationship between Congolese giants AS Vita Club and 24-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper Simon Medjo Loti Omossola has come to an end.

According to a Tweet from Cameroonian Journalist Charles Embola, the ex Cotonsport of Garoua short stopper has left the club with a new challenge lurking next door.

This Pan African Sports News portal understands Omossola who turned down a new contract proposal is on the good books of rivals Saint Eloi Lupopo who are willing to break the banks to secure his services.

Omossola won one LINAFOOT title during his time at Vita Club and was voted 2021 Congolese league goalkeeper of the year.

He spent three years at Vita Club and helped the club reach the group stages of the CAF interclub competition on two occasions including this season.

Cameroon duo Lukong Bongaman and Dande Junior are the other Cameroon keepers on the books of Vita club.

However, the Cameroon international is undecided about his next club but sure to settle on that before the end of the January transfer window.

The 2018 Cameroon Elite One championship winner was part of the Cameroon team at the 2019 Under-23 and this year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
