Indomitable Lions forward Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu scored late winner to ensure Dinamo Moscow returned from the Rostec Arena with all three points and maintain a four points gap from chasers Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Saturday’s match day 28 clash against relegation-threatened Baltika produced huge drama as Dinamo needed two goals in added time to recover and pick up their 15th victory of the season.
Dinamo scored within three minutes of kickoff via Tyukavin but were 1-2 down going into additional time of the game after conceding goals from Henriquez and Kaplenko midway into either halves.
As it has been the case in the best part of this season, Ngamaleu who assisted the first goal won the game with a 99th minute.
That goal sent the traveling fans into total frenzy and rightly so. Ngamaleu was named man of the match for his brilliance highlighted by the goal and assist.
With two rounds of matches remaining, Dinamo Moscow are red-hot favorites to win the league.
Ngamaleu and mates could secure the title next week if they get a positive result Zenit failed to replicate.
The aspiring champions will host PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara next weekend at the VTB stadium. Ngamaleu who was called up to the Cameroon team pre-selected for next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers matches against Cape Verde Island and Angola.
29-year Ngamaleu has scored five goals and made five assists in 24 Russian Premier League matches this season.
