Unisport of Bafang through its President, Donald Ngameni, has sealed a deal with a Qatari company, Porto Holding Group for the construction of an Ultra-modern training center.

The deal worth about 376 million CFA was signed by the young vibrant president and Mohammed Ben Khalifa, CEO of Porto Holding Group on Monday, December 5.

This for sure is the outcome of Samuel Eto’o’s initiative of bringing along with him all Elite One and two club presidents to Qatar for the World Cup which has yielded fruits for some who went networking.

President Donald Ngameni was among the 26-man delegation of Cameroonian club presidents who were taken to Qatar by FECAFOOT, to throw weight behind the lions.

As officially agreed upon, the Qatari company will finance the construction of the training center, one of which will also include 38 furnished rooms for accommodations.

Representatives of the company will be in Cameroon in January 2023 and the laying of the foundation stone is scheduled for February.

The 27-year-old president of the Elite two side in just about three months of being at the helm of the club is already ensuring he leaves a positive mark during his regime.

Before the start of the 2022/23 Elite two season, he ensured a mass was organized in Bafang that saw the players and staff commemorate the new season to God, an initiative instigated in the club by him for the very first time.

If everything goes as planned, Unisport will enjoy a more comfortable training facility in due course, and in turn, Ngameni Donald writes his name in history books.
