According to the latest homologation decision from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Uganda Cranes shall have no Stadium in the nation to host AFCON and World Cup games.

This comes as a big blow for Uganda who are to play AFCON qualifiers in the next months.

Uganda have recently been hosting their games at St Mary’s stadium a home to UPL side Vipers SC since their national stadium Namboole went into rehabilitation.

24/54 African countries find themselves in the same situation like Uganda after the CAF document.

Unfortunately , immediate neighbors like Burundi ,DRC , Ethiopia ,Kenya ,Rwanda ,South Sudan ,Sudan also have stadiums that don’t qualify.

Tanzania has one ,but Uganda is playing against them in the AFCON qualifiers.

Playing Tanzania in AFCON Qualifiers ,means Uganda will have to look to other options around Africa where they will host games.
