Yong Sports Academy’s midfielder, Ntsague Franck, has hinted at a possible departure from the Bamenda-based club after just one season.

The 23-year-old, who joined YOSA from Astre of Douala last season, expressed his desire to leave the yellow submarines during an appearance on STV’s “LA presse refait le match” on Tuesday, July 30.

Although he didn’t specify a destination, it’s clear that he won’t be joining a club in the northwest region, as his comments hinted at a move elsewhere.

Ntsague received praise for his valuable contributions to the club during the 2023-2024 football campaign. Yong Sports, which reached the interpools for the first time, boasted not only a strong offensive line but also an active midfield led by Franck.

In a Facebook post dated April 20, 2024, the yellow submarines lauded his dedication to the team, likening him to YOSA’s very own Ngolo Kante:

“Yong Sports Academy rarely loses a match when he is on the pitch. Dedicated, disciplined, and hardworking are the best words to describe this talented young midfielder. He reads the game like a radar, and with his composure and class, he easily relays play from defense to attack. Ntsague Franck is a hard-holding midfielder, one of the best in the championship this season. He does the dirty work and ensures his teammates have a seamless job to do up front.”

As for his next destination, speculation abounds. Some believe he might join Stade Renard, Cotonsport, Dynamo of Douala, or Bamboutos of Mbouda, as reports suggest these clubs have shown interest.
