Coach Soh Simplis popularly known as pro coachy Marechal has been named the Best Coach of the just ended North West Regional Football League.
The experience tactician who is also part of the current PWD Bamenda technical bench guided Bafmeng United to their first ever final of the North West Regional Football League where they emerged champions.
During the season, Bafmeng United conceded just two goals from open play and went undefeated throughout the season.
The Best Coach Award was donated by the CEO of kick442.com Angu Lesley.
For other awards, Ngufor Terence of Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe took home the highest goal scorer award. He scored 9 goals.
Meanwhile, Julian Pius of Bang Bullet FC emerged as the Best Player of the league. He was instrumental and played a key role for Bang Bullet to get to the final scoring 4 goals in the process.
Experience goalkeeper Ngam Leonard of Bafmeng United won the Best Goalkeeper award.
Special awards were given to the stadium coordinator of GS Nibung Akumbang Blaise, The University of Bamenda Afah Moses, to Street TV and Ebako Renes Ebako.
Francois Mitterrand of Yong Sports Academy, Ngwa Samuel of Rangers FC Bafut, Hon.Agho Oliver, Chiateh Jacob, Chesi Nicasius, Hon. Verla Lukong Fostine, Atemba Cyril of Garment House, Murum Divine of Africa Sports Management, Madiba VIP Snack Bar, Afang Franklin donated prizes at the final of the league.
