Cameroonian defender Denis Ngweni Ndasi Kadiang has been included in the Rivers United squad that has left Nigeria Brazzaville, Congo.

The 27-year-old is part of the 22 players and staff that left the Murtala Mohamed Airport in Lagos this Friday as they travel for their first game in the Group stage of the CAF interclub competitions.

Ndasi is in his second season at the club. Last season, he helped them win the domestic championship last season against Diables Noirs.

Rivers will open their campaign at the Massamba-Debat Stadium, Brazzaville.

They are pitted in the same group as ASEC Mimosa and DC Motema Pembe of Congo Democratic Republic of Congo who clash elsewhere on Match day one.

Ndasi will be making his comeback in the competition he played during his days at Cotonsport of Garoua and Union Sportive of Douala.
