Morocco termed the most developed African team in recent times has seen their brilliance raise them to the upper echelon.

Morocco beats Spain on post-match penalties to qualify for the #Qatar2022 World Cup quarter-finals. They are 4th Africa Nation to reach this feat after Cameroon, Senegal, and Ghana.

A game that saw the Africans display footballing excellence and fighting spirit with a mentality to win and only win. Yes, Morocco has beaten Spain by 3-1 on penalty shootouts.

Yassine Bounou who has spent most of his career in Spain played hero as he saved two penalties with one denied by the woodwork.

Born in Madrid Spain, came Achraf Hakimi with the final shot that pierced deep into Spanish hearts as his calmness saw him tip off the panenka with the fate of the nation on his shoulders. Pulling off such a kick on such a big occasion shows what a player Hakimi is.

Morocco is now the pride of Africa and yes they have lived up to expectations.

From topping their group with 7points to sending home 2010 world champions in the 16th round is just glorious. What else can this Moroccan team not do?
