Come Saturday 11th at the Education City Stadium we will be witnessing a thrilling football encounter pitting the Seleção das Quinas against the Atlas lions, Africa against Europe, the Berber against the Lusitano, CAF against UEFA.

It has been a highly anticipated game and believe me not , both squads are ready for the tussle.

The Atlas lions have been in Camp at the Wyndham Doha West Bay since they arrived Qatar and envy staying longer.

The Seleção das Quinas landed in Qatar on November 19th 2022 and they have been lodging at the Al Samriya Authograph Collection Hotel.

Saturday will see some of the finest names in world football lock horns .
We will see the best of Moroccan tactician Walid Regragui stand up against a star studded Fernando Santos groomed side.

It will be a Bounou post guarded side against a Costa guarded side.

Walid’s formidable back wall with the likes of Hakimi, Aguerd, Sais, Mazraoui and Benoun will be up against a firing strike force with the likes of Ronaldo, Ramos, Felix,Leao,Bruno .

At the other end Fernando’s defence line with the likes of Pepe, Dias, Dalot, Guereiro, Cancelo will have the likes of Ziyech, En-Nesri, Boufal, and Cheddira to contain with.

Then comes the motherboard of all football teams, the midfield where the whole game will be decided.

Coach Walid has a rich bed of midfielders to select from with the likes of Amrabat, Ounahi, Amalah to battle the game’s settings with Fernando Santos’ midfield having the likes of Cavalho, Silva, Otavio, Nevez to field in.

With the squad depth at both ends , I believe it is going to be a worth watching game.
Will Seleção das Quinas continue their quest to get the missing golden crown with Ronaldo having it as the only lacking piece in his cabinet or just beautiful memories from Doha, Qatar, Saturday will be infinite.

Walid Regragui and his boys are confident and not ready to settle for anything less than taking Africa to where they’ve never been before, the semi final.

The pride of African football lies on the shoulders of the Atlas Lions and believe is, they will defend it on Saturday as they did against la Roja of Spain.
