- The third club to be relegated will be determined by the clash of Renaissance of Ngoumou and Foncha Street FC on Saturday though AS FAP who face Unisport can also be dragged into trouble waters
Leopard Sportif of Douala and Rangers of Bafut have been relegated to the Littoral and Northwest Regional League of FECAFOOT respectively.
Their new status was confirmed on Wednesday following Rangers’ 1-2 defeat against FAP and Leopard’s 0-2 defeat against resurgent Renaissance FC of Ngoumou on match day six of the MTN Elite Two championship.
Both clubs endured a tough regular season in the second tier of Cameroon football, condemning to battle for their survival through the relegation playoffs which wasn’t any different.
Rangers only accumulated four points during the playoffs, losing four of their six games played so far while Leopard only prevented a defeat once – during a 1-1 draw against Foncha Street FC on match day of the playoffs.
