  • Lamkel Ze has scored his first goal for Hatayspor
  • His goal helped in the 3-2 win over Trabzonspor and earned him a place in the team of the week
  • Hatayspor is the seventh club Ze has scored for in his globetrotting career.

Hatayspor’s Didier Lamkel Ze has been included in the Turkish Super League team of match day six following his brilliant performance in the 3-2 win against Trabzonspor on Monday.

Ze who made a rare start in the game was in his best shape and scored the equalizer as his club came from 2-0 down to claim a shock 3-2 win.

The former Royal Antwerp forward in a rare start for his club this season was booked in the 38th before they conceded two quick goals that had the hands of Paul Onuachu all over it. The Nigerian forward played in Edin Višća to score the opener before the interval then Onuachu found the back of the Hatayspor net later.

It looked like three points save and dry for Trabzonspor. However, the hosts rallied to produce one of the comebacks of the season so far.

Rigoberto Manuel Rivas Vindel reduced the deficit 13 minutes from regulation time to set the pace for the comeback.

Lamkel Ze pounced on a great lay-off outside the six yard area to make it 2-2 as the game headed towards additional time.

Nigerian forward Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, won it for Hatayspor in the seventh minute of additional time, benefiting from Joelson Fernandez assist.

Hatayspor held on to win all three points in what made their second victory in six outings this season.

The first goal of the season for Lamkel Ze and his all round player was certainly a welcomed sight for Hatayspor diehards and his fans from across the world.

He has since been named in the team of the week alongside compatriot Sacha Boey of Galatasaray who is joined by club colleague Davinson.

Ghana’s Alexander Djiku joins Fehnabahce duo Livakovic and Ibfan Can in the line up that has Salih of Beşiktaş and Guilerme of Konyaspor among others.
