Experienced Cameroonian defender Kum Bryan has signed a new two-year-deal with Newly-promoted MTN Elite Two franchise Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe, making him one of the most long-serving defenders presently at the club.

Kum joined the Elite two newcomers in the build up to the 2021/22 season from Continental FA and formed an interesting partnership with Agbor Bogard to help ISOHSA reach their first-ever mini interpools and 32nd final of the Cup of Cameroon in what was already a successful first campaign.

The defender’s know-how climaxed last season when he partnered Tebug Kingsley to secure promotion to the second tier of Cameroon football with an unforgettable display at the national interpools, during which they only conceded three goals in six matches.

The management of the club has settled on a new two-year-deal as a reward for the efforts of the 20-year-old ball-playing defender expected to form the foundation of the team next season in Elite Two.

Atanas as he is fondly called has joined the rest of the squad in pre-season as they build up to the new campaign on a date to be made public after Friday’s draw.

Kum has spent most of his career on the books of clubs in the amateur championship. This move thus signifies a step forward for the player with a promising future, if glimpses of his brilliance so far is anything to go by.

Kum will compete or complement Abdul Razack, Tebug Kingsley and a number of options in the center-back position when the new abridged season gets underway later this month.
