Ikose Njuma Conrad clinched the 2023/24 MTN Elite Two golden boot on Sunday after finishing the season with 15 goals in 15 matches for Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe.

The Cameroon U-20 international added four more to his tally on the final day of the season, scoring a quadruple at the MTN Arena in Mbouda as his side beat Rangers of Bafut 7-0 to finish top of the relegation playoffs with 16 points.

Mbang Symplice finished second with 13 goals for Panthere Sportive and Bide Ndohougar Luc of TKC alongside his team mate Frederick Etoumbang plus John Wonge Njong of Foncha Street FC third with 12 goals each.

Four of the five top scorers found the back of the net on the final day of the campaign with the exception of Etoumbang.

Njong scored from the penalty spot against Renaissance FC to maintain his club’s Elite status while Mbang scored five in the 7-0 win against Dragon of Yaounde and Bide in TKC’s 1-1 draw against Racing Bafoussam plus Njuma’s four against Rangers.

Njuma enjoyed an unforgettable debut season with ISOHSA of Limbe. The teenager joined the club from Victoria United FC and took very little time to settle.

Njuma missed the opening two games of the season while waiting for his switch to be completed plus the last two games owing to injury.

He made his debut against Leopard Sportif of Douala in the 3-0 win away from home but scored a brace counting for his first goal for the club in the 6-0 win at home to Rangers and never looked back.

The former CUSA forward got a brace against Leopard in Limbe and another brace against Foncha Street FC in Bafang amongst others in the brilliant season.
