Defending Champions AS AWA FF with a 99 percent changed squad from that which won the league last season, started the campaign on a high, beating Caiman of Douala 4#0. AWA FF got their goals through a Guylaine Tchadeu hat trick and a goal from Darbawa Madeleine.

AS Fortuna beat Ngadeu FF 4#1 in a clash of new comers. Both sides are in their first campaign in the top flight. Indomitable lionesses’ defender Catherine Mbengono, hit a double for Fortuna, with Aristide Poula and Claudia Foe also on target. Ngadeu FF got their consolation through Chance Solkem.

Louves Minproff edged Amazone FAP in the center regional derby. Naomi Eto’s goal was not enough to FAP, as Louves scored twice through Medoua Balbine and Rose Priso, to walk away with all three points.

A star studded Lekie FF, was clinical against Eclair FC of Sa’a in the League’s opener on Saturday at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium. Brenda Tabe got a brace on her return to the club, same to as former Canon FF goal poacher Raissa Nnanga who was voted Woman of the match. Eliane Bibout was on target twice for Eclair FC.
