Authentic forwards, Solange Lakingam and Marie Claire Kibinde ensure the host grab all three points against visiting Ngadeu FFA in matchday five of the 2022/23 Guinness Super League, a game that ended 3-0.

Kibinde’s brace in the second half of the game sealed victory for Coach Hivir Fernandes’ side after a 1-0 first half seperation.

Well deserved victory before a huge number of fans at the Bepanda annex stadium in Douala, Authentic came into this encounter second placed on the classification table, a position they now retain following this win as they move to up 13 points.

Solange Lakingam put the host ahead at the 19th minute right inside the opponents box, from a smart taken free kick cross by Tim Shalom Makoma.

Barely eight minutes into the last half of the game, Marie claire Kibinde converted a penalty she won for Authentic after she was brought down in the box.

It seemed far from over for the goal scoring opportunities for Authentic as Kibinde for the second time just four minutes after converting the penalty, found the back of goalkeeper July Ndong’s net again. This time, she made the sleeping Ngadeu defense pay.

The only glearing opportunity for wasteful Ngadeu FF was Bitala Suzy Laila’s shot on target which went right into the waiting hands of goalkeeper Beatrice Allaissem.

Things became even worse for the visitors when Raissa Fouoka was shown a straight red card at the 82nd minute, leaving a 10-woman Ngadeu to continue the fruitless struggle.

At the end of the final final, both sides separated on a 3-0 scoreline in favour of Second placed Authentic FC.

Ngadeu have now failed to record any win in all five games played so far. Matchday six will be another opportunity to wake up from slumber.

Authentic will be in action on Wednesday, 8 February for their matchday six clash. While Ngadeu will be hoping for a first three point this year come next week as well.
