Amazone FAP of Yaounde has suffered their fourth defeat of the 2022-2023 Guinness Super League campaign, following their 1#2 defeat by league’s new babies AS Fortuna at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium on Sunday.
Mike Ndoumou’s side currently occupy the bottom half of the League’s rankings, after suffering four consecutive defeats in as many games this season.
Goals from Raissa Tchomte and Meva Kiki, were enough for AS Fortuna to walk away with all three points at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium in Yaounde on Sunday, as Amazone FAP are now in their worst start of the season in the history of the club. Naomi Eto got the consolation goal for FAP.
Before sunday’s game, FAP had suffered defeats to Louves Minproff, Authentic FC and FC Ebolowa.

Louves Minproff suffers first defeat
In the other game played at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium on Sunday, Éclair FF of Sa’a imposed a first defeat of the season on Louves Minproff.
Jennifer Aboudi had put Éclair in front, but Priso Ndong drew the game level. Kevin Ossol however made sure made sure that Éclair steals all three points, with a late finish to hand them a 2#1.

Authentic keeps top spot
Authentic FC of Douala defeated Eding FF 3#0 at the Olembe Annex A stadium on Saturday, to keep their place at the top of the league.
Eding FF came into the game occupying the top spot after the Homologation and discipline commission had handed them six points from their games against Canon and AWA.

Visiting Authentic proved too strong for the host, as Tim Shalom inspired them to an important win. Just returning from camp with the indomitable lionesses, Tim Shalom scored twice before the hour mark, before Solange Larkingam sealed the win for Authentic who are unbeaten in their four league games.

FC Ebolowa’s steady progress continues
FC Ebolowa recorded a 2#0 win over Ngadeu FF at the Ndoumbe Oumar stadium in Ngaoundere on Saturday.

Since after their opening day defeat to Authentic FC in Douala, FC Ebolowa is now on a run of three unbeaten games.

Lekie FF impose fourth defeat on Caïman
Lekie FF picked up their third consecutive win of the season, following their 3#0 win over Caïman FF away in Douala.
Ngah Manga had put the Lekie side in front, before Tantoh Melvis’ brace wrapped up the win for Stéphane Ndzana’s side. Lekie FF has one delayed game.
