Lekie Football Filles of Yaounde, has beaten AS AWA FF 4-0, in one of day seven fixtures of the Guinness Super League.
In the game played at the Annex A of the Olembe stadium on Saturday afternoon, Marie Gisele Divine Ngah Manga was on target, and provided two assists, as Lekie ran riots against defending Champions AS AWA.
Lekie FF was the better side from start to finish, but fashioned several scoring chances early in the game.
Goalkeeper Chelsea Ngole of AS AWA was kept busy all afternoon, but did well till the 43rd minute when Ngah Manga burst through AWA’s defence to smash in the curtain raiser.
Former AS AWA’s full back Brigitte Moumazim, increased tally at the 62nd minute of play, when her inswing cross disguised and got goalkeeper Ngole off guard.
Guylaine Tchadeu, Annie Enganaben and co were kept quiet all through, by a solid backline of Mogai Lewyo, Natacha Elam, Moumazim and captain Ladifatou Ngambe.
Nicole Njock was at the finishing end of Ngah Manga’s pass at the 82nd minute to make it 3-0, before Raissa Nnanga netted her fifth goal of the Season still from a Ngah Manga supply.
A comfortable 4-0 win for Lekie FF, who were unfazed in the absence of the likes of Brenda Tabe, Farida Machia and the the injured Tantoh Melvis.
Lekie FF has now won all their six games played this season, keeping five clean sheets. They still have one game at hand, which is yet to be decided, against Canon FF.
