Kameni Alice Flora scored a hat trick as FC Ebolowa got the better of struggling Eding Sport Filles by the odd goal in five this Saturday afternoon in match day eight of the 2023/24 Guinness Super League championship.
The current Guinness Super League lead scorer was simply unplayable as she tormented Eding Sport all afternoon.
Kameni put the current league leaders ahead 22 minutes into the game, converting a penalty she won for Oudou Kpoumie’s team.
Naomie Essame equalized for the hosts just before the interval but Kameni restored the lead just upon resumption.
The FC Ebolowa goal poacher scored her tenth goal of the season in the 75th minute to put daylight between the sides and set FC Ebolowa to yet another win.
However, there was a nervy finish as Geraldine Assako pulled one back for Eding four minutes from time.
Captain Brigitte Omboudou and mates held on to seal the massive victory which enhances their stay at the top of the log after eight matches.
The results leaves FC Ebolowa at the top of the championship with 22 points from a possible 24 as they extend their unbeaten run to eight games while Eding remains last but two with six points.
