The FUFA Women’s Super league was once again in action over the weekend with plenty on the cards.

In today’s edition ,we highlight the best 5 players that were sensational on match day 16.

𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒓𝒂 𝑵𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒘𝒂

Arguably the best player for the 2022/23 season ,Shakira was once again instrumental for the valley warriors in the 3#1away victory against Martyrs.

The budding star struck first in the 35th minute from a well delivered set piece but the celebrations were cut short after the referee raised the offside flag.

In second half, assisted Hadijah Nandago to double the lead before sealing it late in the 77th minute.

Shakira leads the race for the golden shoe with 12 goals to her name.

𝑨𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒂𝒕 𝑵𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒘𝒂

On return after missing the last league fixture against Martyrs at home , Naluggwa scored a brace as UCU shared spoils with Lady Doves in Mukono.

The skilful winger opened the scoring first in the 20th minute to give the hosts the lead.

Doves fought back with two goals at start of second half before she levelled the matters later.

A brace on Saturday morning took her scoring tally to 10 goals this season.

𝑯𝒖𝒔𝒏𝒂 𝑴𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒋𝒂

On a mission to stay in the league , Tanzanian born forward Husna Mpanja keeps proving her worthy after joining Makerere in the January transfer.

The lethal striker was once again dominated the proceedings in their 3#0 victory over Olila H/S.

On scoresheet in her second consecutive game after scoring a goal contender of the season in the game against Rines.

Now fully recovering to the best after that long injury on the sidelines ,Ronah looked lively as She Corporate were held to a goalless draw by Asubo Gafford.

The final passes to the forwards on the day were top notch despite them looking blunt Infront of the goal.

Ronah ,came close to scoring in second half but her shot was well saved by Asubo custodian Olga.

𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒕 𝑲𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒂

Wonderkid Margaret Kunihira was impressive in Kampala Queens 2#1 victory over Rines SS.

The crested cranes forward has proved over to be a thorn for Rines a side she enjoys scoring against most.

Kunihira ,was on target with a beautiful freekick from a tight right angle in Kabojja to extend Kampala Queens unbeaten run this season.
