Her latest heroics came in Senegal’s goalless draw against hosts Morocco. Facing relentless pressure from the Atlas Lionesses, Ndiaye produced a string of outstanding saves before delivering the defining moment of the match.
She denied Morocco from the penalty spot, only for the kick to be ordered retaken. Showing remarkable composure, she guessed correctly again and saved the second attempt as well, becoming the first player of the tournament to stop two penalties from the same sequence. She finished the contest with seven saves, preserving Senegal’s clean sheet and earning another Woman of the Match accolade.
Her consecutive Player of the Match awards have made her one of the faces of WAFCON 2026 and sparked admiration across African football, with fans celebrating a football journey that has taken her from scoring goals to preventing them at the highest level.
