FIFA license agent, Olawale Onipede has attributed the victory of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team against Rwanda in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers to Victor Osimhen’s brilliance.
First half brace from the Galatasaray forward lifted the Super Eagles to conquer the Amavubis on Friday.
The Reigns Soccer Agency boss opined that the success of the team can’t be attributed to coach tactics.
“Super Eagles eagle match was nothing to write home about. Many people’s may not agree with me because they won but I assure you that the team is not in good shape as Super Eagles of old,” He said after the match.
“Let me start from the attacking line which was poor and shadows of themselves, midfield is hidden no accurate pass or play maker in the middle also alot of mistakes. Let go to the defense line is even fair due today because Rwanda striker went to sleep maybe they are looking at the super stars on the pitch because no bites, no fight and no push as well from them but there are few flashes but not decent enough and clearing.
“Rwanda is not an organized team on the pitch today because their information toady was purely wrong to the game. Super Eagles coach tatics is not effective and sound as a top gaffer because with what I saw as gaffer he can’t go far.
“It take a game changer Osimhen two brilliant momenta was enough to silence the opponent even Lookman was not in the game fully as we know him to be but it is normal every day is not a party.”
He advised Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle to brace up ahead of the challenges ahead.
“Super Eagles coach should gear up with his tactics and information because is substitutions are off and not on this mean is introductions of new legs doesn’t make the different on the pitch,” He added.
“Just watch when Super Eagles meet better side, the secret will be out for us to see all. The back room staff are not studying the game. They all need to wake up. No team work just individual play. We have alot to do on that team for us to make it with top countries. Many will disagree with this but this is the fact.” He concluded.
The three time African champions moved to the fourth position with six points from five games.
They next face bottom side, Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
