Experienced Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) defender Tebug Kingsley Tengah has revealed he has massive respect for Fovu and the players are staying focused as they prepare for their clash against the former Cameroon champions this Sunday at the Limbe Centenary Stadium.

As the weekend approaches, every Elite Two football fan in Limbe is focused on the ISOHSA vs. Fovu match, another clash against a historic club.

The Interpool winning defender and Cup of Cameroon semi-finalist has discussed preparations for the game in the ISOHSA ranks. The defender says they are excited about the opportunity to face this great club especially after they made new recruits.

Both clubs being in the race for those promotion playoffs places, everything indicates, that it is a game that might have significant implications in their season.

“A very tough game ahead of us; Fovu is a very good side. Obviously, it’s going to be a big one like all games we have played this season, and one that I’m definitely looking forward to.

“They are very good; they are a very good team in every aspect. I think they are very good, and we have to be very good as well at the weekend to win the game. But I love to look at my own team, and I love to look at what we can bring to the table. And we have a lot to do as well, and we can make it very difficult for them too.

“We have grown mentally in the past 12 months. We moved from TKC to Eding and then Djiko FC. These are all great clubs in Cameroon football. We learned a lot from facing historic teams during our run to the cup of Cameroon semi-final and that’s helping us now.”

“I’ve got massive respect for them. But I want to win the game, and we’ll do everything in our power and my power to do so,” Kingsley concluded.

Kingsley is yet to feature for the club this season but remains a pivotal element in the squad given his experience and leadership skills manifested over the years.

A victory for ISOHSA will offer the people’s Royal Elephants the pleasure of setting the pace in this early phase of the season.

ISOHSA will enter the Fovu clash with seven points from their opening three games after wins against historic sides TKC and Djiko FC plus a home draw against Eding Sport de la Lekie that won the Cameroon top-flight championship in 2017.
