Cameroon and Napoli midfielder, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa pulled out an assist in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Salernitana in matchday 19 of the Italian serie A clash.

The 26-year-old midfield maestro exchanged passes with teammate Mario Rui before crossing the ball over to Giovanni Di Lorenzo who smartly sent it to the back of the net.

With the first half having threatened to end in a goalless tie, Zambo Anguissa ensured Napoli took the lead after his assist to Lorenzo three minutes of the end of the first half earned them all three points.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen sealed a 2-0 win for Napoli through a second half goal(48’), scoring his 50th goal in the top five European Leagues after netting 13 for Lille in the Ligue 1 and 37 for Napoli in the Serie A.

Anguissa now counts four assists and two goals in 17 games played in the série A this 2022/23 season for Napoli

Napoli are commanders of the league’s table with 12 points ahead of their nearest rival Milan, having won 16 games, drawn two and lost just one.

Salernitana sit 16th on the table with just 18 points as they failed to record a win at home against Anguissa’s side.

Napoli’s next game comes up on Sunday, January 29 against Roma who will play host to the league leaders.
