Samekomba Richard complete switch to ISOHSA from Djiko FC

Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe have signed signed potential Cameroon international international Samekomba Richard from Djiko FC for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who has joined the 2024 Cup of Cameroon semi-finalist after just a year at Djiko FC of Bandjoun, was confirmed as an ISOHSA player on Monday, September 30.

“He is a fantastic player, one with experience to push his team mates in good and not good moments of the season,” ISOHSA boss Karl Njomo Mokake told the kick442.com team.

“He made it difficult for us last season and we made him a target from then. He will add a lot of options and solutions for us in midfield.”

Richard had two brilliant performances against ISOHSA last season, covering miles to ensure Djiko FC of Bandjoun forced ISOHSA to a goalless draw in Limbe and the 3-2 win Bandjoun.

Samekomba Richard pens two-year contract with ISOHSA

Richard has joined up with his new team-mates as ISOHSA continue to prepare for the upcoming season.

Richard, who who has came through the Kamjo Sports Academy and also previously played for Victoria United will help solidify the club’s midfield area when the new season gets underway next month.

The club already announced the arrival of Che Randy, Edwood Bantar Talikong, Sawai Kelly but everything being equal, the club could announce more new arrivals one of these days.

ISOHSA is preparing for their second season in the MTN Elite Two championship having raised the bar very high in their debut campaign with a top of the table finish in the relegation playoffs and reached the semi-final of the cup of Cameroon.

The 2023 national interpools champions will participate in the 17 clubs MTN Elite Two championship expected to begin in late October or early November.
