Both the indomitable lions of Cameroon and the Black stars of Ghana, are out of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, but the two African sides have continued to grab headlines in the aftermath of their exit.

Ghana won one of their three group games at the world cup, as Cameroon claimed four points in group G and became the first  African country to defeat Brazil at the world cup.

As Ghanians still digest the news of the resignation of coach Otto Addo, their Cameroonian counterparts have been in the news headlines everyday, with the Rigobert Song versus Andre Onana saga still gaining fresh grounds.

However, there seems to be more trouble on the way for the two countries, as there have been news of alleged corruption cases within the two teams prior to the world cup.

According to French investigative journalist Romain Molina, some Cameroon and Ghanian players paid or sacrificed part of their bonuses, to be selected for the world cup, at the detriment of better and High performant players.

In a nine minutes YouTube video, Molina revealed that most of the players who are easily targeted, are Binationals. He further claims that he knows some players who refused to pay the demanded sums, and were left out.

With the case of the indomitable lions of Cameroon, Molina said at least Five of the 26 players paid to be selected and claims that within the team, the players know very well those way paid to make the final list.

“The best players were not taken,  instead those who accepted to pay,” he said

Molina’s revelations come barely weeks after former indomitable lions forward Mohammadou Idrissou alias Tchoki Tchop, had threatened in one of his Videos that he will reveal the names of players who paid to be selected for the world cup. Idrissou has since that not make public the supposed list.

Bribing to earn a place into the various categories of the National team in Cameroon and some other African countries, has been a long talk about practice. Most at times, not best and qualified players are selected,  instead those who can afford to pay the demanded sums.
