Onana in Premier League Team of the Month, nominated for save of the month

Cameroon international and Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has featured in the English Premier League Team of the Month for his remarkable saves he made for Manchester United. He has also been nominated by the Premier League for the save of the month award.

The shot stopper who was signed last summer from Inter Milan looks to have found his feet in the Premier League, and his performances between the sticks helped Erik ten Hag’s side to three wins and three clean sheets in November.

Andre Onana’s player of the match display against Everton, where he made a total of six saves, was his highest rated of the month, and indeed the season so far.

According to Whoscored?.com ratings, Andre Onana had a total of 7.69.

The ratings also features three other players from Manchester United, three from Manchester City, one each from Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

The 27-year-old Cameroon international has made 13 appearances for Manchester United in the English Premier League and has kept 5 clean sheets.

For the Save of the Month of November, Andre Onana was nominated for his save against Luton Town.

He has been nominated alongside Vicario for his save against Chelsea, Alisson against Manchester City, Nick Pope against Chelsea, Areola against Burnley and Kaminski against Crystal Palace.
