Experienced Chadian Assistant Referee Victorine Ngarassoum has been appointed one of the match officials of the interesting 2023 All Africa Games (AAGs) semi-final clash between Uganda and defending champions Nigeria at the Cape Coast stadium this Monday.

The 30-year-old has been drafted into a promising team that has Egypt’s Noura Samir Hamed as Referee while Namibia’s Eveline Augustinus is the first assistant.

Jumia Lucy Awine from Kenya completes the officiating team as fourth official on the day.

This game is Ngarassoum’s third in the competition as she continues her dream debut in the continental scene.

Having featured at multiple zonal tournaments and qualifiers, the nurse by profession displayed her A-game in her first two games at the same venue, surely explaining the decision to task her in the business end of the event.

Title holders Nigeria will hope to continue their great run in the competition against a fearless Uganda side that has been more than impressive in the running to the last four.

The 5pm kick-off in the sea side resort city is expected to be a trailblazer that attracts the interests of womens football lovers across the continent.
