Cameroon Elite 1 side Fovu of Baham have appointed former Intermediate Lions of Cameroon trainer Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso as their new coach for the 2023/24 season.
The experienced technician agreed the deal this Wednesday, August 2 after weeks of negotiations with officials of the Yongwa boys.
Coach Ndoumbe replaces Guy Bertin Djienang who led Fovu to a third place finish in the Elite One championship and reached the Cup of Cameroon final.
The new trainer who previously managed Astres of Douala, YOSA, Cotonsport amongst others had been out of work since leaving Bamboutos FC of Mbouda in the build up to the just-ended season.
Sango as he is fondly known inherits a squad of very talented players with huge hunger for success.
He will guide the team through the cup of Cameroon final on a date to be announced before switching his attention towards preparations for the upcoming season.
Though they have dropped down the pecking order in recent years, Fovu remains one of the most consistent clubs in the Elite 1 championship.
Fans of the 2002 League winners will be hoping the arrival of the former Sable of Batie coach be the lucky touch that makes them recapture the touch of champions.
