The indomitable lions’ legend Modest M’Bami who passed away on 7th January 2023 in Le Havre France has been celebrated by three of his former clubs this Wednesday.
Dynamo of Douala, French Ligue 2 side Le Havre which he played for between 2014-2016 and PSG where he won two French cups paid touching tributes to the fallen hero on different occasions.
The most striking was Paris Saint Germain where he played from 2003 to 2006 making over 101 appearances who decided to display his photos on the giant screen in the Stadium.
PSG displayed pictures of the centurion before their Ligue 1 game against Angers.
The crowd at the Parc Des Princes paid last respect by clapping while standing as his picture in PSG colors was displayed on the big screens.
Le Havre did same in their Ligue 2 game against Sochaux while Dynamo where it all started replicated the move in their home clash against Rangers of Bafut.
On the day of his death, PSG put up a touching message on their social media handle;
“Paris Saint-Germain learned with deep sadness the death today of our former player Modeste M’Bami.
The Club sends its sincere condolences to his family and loved ones ❤️💙

Other clubs in Cameroon have also honored the legend at least by sending condolence messages.
M’Bami will be remembered for his massive contribution at the over eight clubs he played for and the three goals he scored in 38 caps for Cameroon plus even more.
