Official sponsors of Cameroon women’s top flight championship, Guinness, in partnership with the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), have met with potential sponsors for a crucial deliberation this Friday March 31 in Douala.
The meeting took place at the La Falaise Hotel in Cameroon’s economic capital was aimed at evaluating the three-year-old relationship between Guinness and FECAFOOT plus sourcing for more sponsors to make the championship more lucrative.
The future of the Guinness Super League was discussed by the representative of FECAFOOT boss, in the person of first Vice President Madam Celine Eko who doubles as president of Cameroon Women’s Football League while and Franziska Riedel, the marketing manager of Guinness Cameroon SA led the other part of the panel.
Representatives of the various invited potential partners, were presented the Federation’s request in partnership with Guinness Cameroon.
It is hoped that more big companies will get involved in promoting women’s football in the country in the months ahead.
The meeting also reassured the guests that there has been a smooth partnership between FECAFOOT and the brewery company known to be the biggest in the country and beyond.
