Matches counting for the 14th day of play in the MTN Elite One championship ended Sunday January 7, 2023.

In Douala, Ndoumbe Bosso Emmanuel picked up his first win as head coach of Union Sportive of Douala. The Nassara Kamakai defeated in-form Canon of Yaounde 1#0.

Aigle of the Menoua continued their fine form after their 0#2 victory against Gazelle FA in Garoua.

Meanwhile, Stade Renard of Melong ended Yong Sports Academy’s four match winning streak with a 0#1 win while Victoria United defeated Apejes of Mfou by 2#3.

– Les Astres 0#2 Colombe of Dja and Lobo

Coach Richard Towa and his Colombe team grabbed vital three points away from home.
Eric Mefoe scored a brace from the penalty spot to help his side walk away from Douala with all three points.

Union of Douala and coach Ndoumbe Bosso Emmanuel grabbed all three points thanks to a Canon of Yaounde own goal.

Emmanuel Mahop scored the lone goal for the defending champions as they returned to winning ways.

– Apejes of Mfou 2#3 Victoria United FC

A hat trick from Richmond Nji ensured Victoria United walks away with all three points from Yaounde against Apejes. The striker now leads the goal.scorers chart with 12 goals
Hamadou scored a brace for Apejes.

Fovu of Baham 3#1 Fauve Azur

Dzomene, Aboubakar Mohamed and Wilfred Nana scored for Fovu of Baham while Ebah Adrien scored what turned out to be a consolation goal for the visitors.

– Yong Sports Academy Bamenda 0#1 Stade Renard of Melong

A seven minute goal from Ako Alexis was all Stade Renard needed to end the four match winning streak of Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda.

The MTN Elite One championship will witness a break after matchday 14 due to the Africa Cup of Nations. It is expected to resume on February 10, 2024 with matchday 15 fixtures.
