ANAFOOT graduate Febe Fritz Bongaman and former Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda attacker Mael Dindjeke were both on target as PWD Bamenda returned to winning ways in the MTN Elite One championship.
In an advance day 12 encounter of the league played at the Mbouda Municipal Stadium, PWD Bamenda started Mael Dindjeke and Febe Fritz Bongaman for the first time this season.
The Abakwa Boys started the match the better team but Colombe was able to contain the pressure in the first 30minutes of the match.
Randy Ntume Kwalar, Cho Maxwell and teammates of Colombe who were looking to build from their impressive 1#2 victory against Union of Douala were finally made to pay five minutes to half time when ANAFOOT graduate Febe Fritz Bongaman fired home to give PWD Bamenda the lead.
Upon resumption of the second half, it took just five minutes for PWD to double their lead. Former Yong Sports Academy striker Mael Dindjeke scored from close range for the Abakwa Boys.
The goal is the first for Mael Dindjeke in his first start of the season for PWD Bamenda.
All attempts from Colombe of Dja and Lobo to get back into the match were dealt with by captain Billy Samin and his PWD teammates.
PWD Bamenda now have 16 points while Colombe remains with 14 points.
